Learners FAQ

What should i expect from a course?

We believe courses should be interactive, practical and engaging. So we want everyone to get involved, and meet all learning objectives to pass a course. Check out the specific training course page for information on what is included in the course.

When should I arrive?

We advise arriving at least 15 minutes prior to the start time of your course. Please be advised we may refuse entry to late arrivals, especially with regulated qualifications, where a minimum attendance is required.

What should I wear?

This largely depends on what course you are attending. First Aid and Manual handling courses are very practical. So we would advise wearing clothing that is suitable to be rolled in to a recovery position on the floor, or to lift equipment on site. Please see the picture to the left for a suitable clothing suggestion.

How long should my certificate take to arrive?

We aim to send out certificates to the client within 2 weeks of the completing of the course. We also aim to email delegates when certificates are sent out.

Can I leave a course early?

Most courses have minimum attendance times, so any issues with attending the course need to be discussed prior to the start with Head Office, and not the trainer on the day.

I have a preexisting medical issue or learning difficulty

Please let your line manager know, or contact us directly before your course starts if you have any medical, or learning issues that could impact on your course. We are happy to make reasonable adjustments where possible, and we appreciate discussing this on a course can be hard.
